Agent Carter?

Do you watch Marvel's Agent Carter? Admittedly, I became interested in it because of my boys and their obsession with all things "super" but I am hooked on the Agent Carter tv show. Peggy Carter is just so. darn. cool.

Prep

I have to admit - even though this outfit sort of screams "Prep School" I still love it.

Leggings for Days

If I have a fall Mom-iform (that's mom uniform for the uninitiated) it's leggings and a tunic. Seriously - it doesn't get much easier than pulling on some good leggings and a nice tunic and just taking the day head on.

Tee-skirt

When I was in Buffalo with my sisters I saw this skirt at a Forever 21 for a whopping $6. Six bucks!

Thankful

I have so much to be thankful for! My beautiful little monsters, I mean boys. My handsome husband - who supports me in all my crazed endeavours, my parents and sisters, my in-laws, our friends and our church. I am so grateful to have all of these wonderful people in my life and Thanksgiving is a perfect time to stop and be thankful.

Ladies' Night

One of the ladies from my church hosted a wonderful dinner for a few of us. She's an amazing cook and we had a great night of delicious food, great wine and fantastic company! (Thanks Michelle!)

Vintage Inspired

Every now and then I get just a teensy bit obsessed with vintage and retro styling. I love the pictures I have of my great-grandmothers in their cotton day-dresses, sensible tweeds, and good walkable dressy shoes. I love the hats (and I'm wearing a fascintor headband in homage to them) and the simple accessories.

Weekend Away Date Night

The hubs and I were lucky to have a chance to get away for a weekend up in beautiful Huntsville, Ontario.

Navy and Wine

I love when I say the name of these two colours that they immediately make me think of drinking wine on a boat. Of course, I did neither of those things while wearing this outfit, but I still love those colours.
