Tucked

Whenever we visit my in-laws we try to go and attend my husband's family church as well. We like to say that they're the "Grandma's House" of churches - our home away from home if you will.

Comfor-tea

I try my best to dress "well" most days. Left to my own devices, and no blog to be responsible to I would probably live in sweat-pants. And if that's your life- no shame, but I know me, and I know that if I allow myself to start by not dressing well, then I won't shower, won't take care of myself, etc etc. So, most days I dress as a way to get myself going.

That said - there are times when you just need to be comfortable. We had some early snow here in South Ontario and November is typically grey and cold day in and day out so when the weather really affects your mood like it does me I had a day where I needed to stay home, drink tea, play my piano, and just be comfortable.

And please believe me when I tell you - it isn't easy to post an entire post with these pics. Hair in a ponytail? No makeup? Yikes! But this is what comfortable looks like!

I love these "studded" leggings I got from Torrid last year. They're soooo comfortable, but they don't look sloppy like some of my sweats do. My socks are from Muskoka BearWear, which is a great Canadian owned/operated/manufactured company out of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge in North Ontario and just a cozy cardi and a super soft tee made for the perfect "outfit" to wear around my house for a day of self-care and quiet.

Hopefully I'll have less "grey days" and more comfort-Tea days instead.

What's your go-to for pure comfort when you need some self-care time?

High Tea

I am blessed to be very close with my sisters and our Mum. We travel together, and try to do some fun outings on a regular basis.

Photo Ready

I admit it. I am one of those super irritating moms that picks out coordinating outfits for their family members, makes them trudge out into the local park, in the snow, take off their warm winter coats and pose while I set up the camera and take a few dozen shots.
