Sarah is totally funny, super smart (she's a lawyer, for real, in real life), and so chic! She puts together great outfits and I'm both totally inspired by her and utterly jealous of her all at the same time. I mean, she's inspirational and all, but she's also cute and blonde and stuff. So, today is my father-in-law's 60th birthday! (Happy Birthday Warren!) And on the weekend, my in-laws hosted a great party to celebrate!

A lazy Sunday with a little grocery shopping, late lunch with the family. What to wear... This mama is all about comfort (but I still want to look like I tried...) So this is what I came up with!

Frankly, my deer...

Everyone has a few items in their closets that aren't necessarily fashionable, don't quite fit perfectly, but are so comfortable and so full of memory that it just feels good to break it out and wear it occasionally. That's how I feel about this deer cardigan.

This sweet, basic little navy dress (with pockets!) was one of the boxing day deals I happened to pick up at Target. It was a great deal at 50% off and I ended up paying less than $14 for it.

As much as Christmastime is about dressing up, wearing new clothes and things and going to parties - it's also about eating WAY too much food and lounging about with family and friends. Sometimes you need a seriously comfortable, yet still chic outfit for the Christmas and Holiday season.
