By that I mean, I was actually a kid with distinct memories from the 80s. Being born in '82, I was 8 years old before we passed into the 90s and I have extremely distinct memories of legwarmers, neon, acid wash, feathered bangs and so on.
So when I put this outfit together at first I was like "oh yeah, this a great outfit, super comfy" and then I took my outfit pictures and I thought "WOAH. 80s throwback much Tea?" And since I'm awesome I still decided to share this outfit with you.
This acid wash pencil style skirt was a hand-me-down from my friend Heather - and while I think it can totally be modernized, I'm pretty sure wearing it with leopard flats and a graphic tee was a little too 80s. I should have just busted out a crimping iron and gone full force, but I didn't.
This graphic tee was a thrifting find at our local Value Village and while I utterly love it, it also completely reminds me of Boba Fett's face (from Star Wars - yes, my nerd is showing). But I think that might just be me.

Thanks Rachel! It definitely felt a little over-80s to me, but maybe it's translated better to everyone else!
