Fall Prints and Leggings

I love wearing prints, but every now and again we swing back towards this trend of teeny tiny all over prints - and I'm sorry - but I just can't wear it.

 I like a print that's a bit bigger, bolder, and makes a statement. Especially if I'm wearing it in any kind of dress or tunic form.

I picked up this sweet bird print dress at Old Navy the other day and although I loved it as a dress, it didn't really do my figure any favours -and as my fashionisto (my littl'un) pointed out at the store "It needs a belt Mommy" - and hey, when he's right, he's right! Maybe next time I'll go with a wider belt and a cardigan? Who knows!

I got these navy leggings at Old Navy at the same time and wore this dress as a tunic with my over the knee boots (folded down), a skinny navy belt and a great tassel necklace that I recently picked up from Charlotte Russe.

This whole outfit just embodies everything I love about dressing for fall!
