Tunic Trend

I find it pretty amusing when I see things like "Tunics are on-trend for the plus-size woman" in advertisements or on fashion segments on day-time TV.

One of the things I'm grateful for as a plus-sized woman is my sewing machine.

So, this may seem like an odd thing for a personal style blog post - but my Gran passed away last Sunday and her funeral was this past Saturday. This is what I wore.

Mermaid Inspired & Link up

I will fully admit that my outfit today was inspired by how my hair re-do turned out. My Mom came by and helped me re-dye the blue in my hair and I'm kind of loving how the different shades of blue and teal all mixed together. It's like mermaid hair! I kind of love it.

These are my Stripes

I've been loving the all-white trend I keep seeing these days - but let's be honest, all white with 2 kids, my nephew, a dog, a cake business... it's just not a good combo

 

Flower Power

My littlest is majorly super-hero obsessed (actually so is my biggest, but hey - they're boys) and pretty much everything these days is a "power" this or a "power" that. For example: "Mommy - these are my power shoes - they make me go super-fast!" or "Mommy - is that necklace you're wearing a power-necklace?" etc etc
