Back in Black (Mama Returns)

Well Hello Friends! Did you miss me? (Lol, did you even notice I was gone?)

I took about a month off from the blog - not because I don't love it but because it was the Christmas season and I needed time to focus on my kids and my husband and my family. And I don't regret it one bit. BUT I did miss this here little blog - and so I am back (in black... blazer) as you can see.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and New Year and I know I am looking forward to what exciting happenings and challenges 2016 is bringing.

This blazer was one of my post-holiday purchases and I just love it. It's got a great relaxed shape, goes well with jeans AND dress clothes and the leather collar is just so effortlessly cool.

Also - I've decided that I've had it up to my multicoloured curls with fashion "rules" that I think are stupid. For example: the day before I wore this outfit I read somewhere that only "super tall and super thin" women should wear flared jeans. Welp.... there goes that rule out the window.

And tomorrow I'm going to share some hair "dos and don'ts" of my own - hint: there are no hard and fast rules chez Mama Tea.
