Fringe, fringe, fringe!
I saw this kimono/robe/thingy at Reitmans in the sale section and I just had to have it. I think it was part of their end of summer clearance, or perhaps their resort collection - and even though I assume it was intended as beachwear I wanted to figure out a way to wear it in the winter.
The dark navy and blue print works well for winter, and the fringe hem just makes it extra fun to wear. The best part of this piece is that it's so comfortable! Wearing this with a navy top and black leggings and my grey flats was like walking around in pajamas and slippers.
I wore this to my Grandfather's 85th birthday celebrations and felt dressy enough for a celebration but casual enough because it was a family event.
What do you think of wearing "summer" items in the winter? Does it work or is it weird? Let me know in the comments!

We can always do transition from summer to winter. I like how you did it. This fringe vest is super cute. o)
