Letting my Nerd Flag Fly

So - at the end of this March Break I finally got to take my boys somewhere that I've been waiting to go to until they were "old" enough to appreciate it: Comicon!

Toronto Comicon started on the Friday evening of the last day of March break and we decided to take our boys for just the one evening (the saturday would be too long, too much people for them) and they had an absolute blast! Tonnes of comics, people dressed in cosplay (my little was going out of his MIND!) and getting a chance to meet some amazing comic artists - and the little got to meet the artist who is currently writing/illustrating his fave: Iron Fist. So. Awesome.

They got to shoot at Stormtroopers, meet Daleks, and wear costumes on the Go Train (which is apparently awesome). So I decided that in some small way - I would let me nerd flag fly while we were downtown.

My Flash ringer tee and some black straight leg jeans (cuffed) were basically perfect for going to comicon. There's a LOT of walking, stopping to take pics, look through boxes of comics and talk to people - comfort is a total must. Plus I needed to have my hands available for my camera and one of my little's hands.

Our boys did great, we picked up some seriously amazing art and left happy. We will totally be going back next year!
