I find that when I wear a dress my inclination is always to dress it up rather than to dress it down.
I fought that instinct the last time I wore this simple navy dress and put on my cargo vest and some simple accessories and boots.
I really like how this outfit turned out! It was great for hanging out with my sister and nephew and doing some shopping.
I am glad to see that this dress works in a casual way as well as a dressy one. I'm looking forward to dressing it down a little more often!

Thanks so much Janise! When I got this it actually had kind of bizarre floral sleeves - they just didn't work for me, so I refashioned it into this vest - I love it much more now!
