Fall Colours

I will admit that I don't go outside my colour-comfort-zone very often. Which is funny because my colour comfort zone is made up of pretty much all colours that most other people don't want to wear. Bright, bold, obnoxious even. If you can describe a colour that way, I'll wear it.

Muted, browns, oranges, pastels even -- not very often. If. Ever.

So this "fall" colour outfit is actually fairly outside of the box for me. I picked up this "muted" (okay I use that term loosely) orange cable sweater a couple of years ago from a thrift store, and these brown pants were just recently handed down to me from a good friend (who has a much nicer closet than me, so it's always awesome when I get hand-me-down clothes from her - Thanks Heather!). I wore my silk, handpainted scarf that I picked up at a women's conference from a fair trade booth - which makes it not only beautiful, but even more awesome. And of course, my leopard flats - because leopard is a neutral, right?

Do you have a colour comfort-zone? How do you feel when you wear things that are a little out of the box for you?

Fashion Rewind:: Leopard Flats
Good Gracious! I've worn these a LOT since I "thrifted" them from my little sister!
Here's the past 3 other outfits that these leopard flats have taken part in.

    1. Who doesn't have a weakness for leopard these days? They are a great, funky "neutral". Thanks for visiting!
