But, to be perfectly honest, an almost bodycon style, practically mini dress, with horizontal stripes is definitely NOT my go-to list for clothes to put on my body.
All that said, I'm really happy with this outfit. It was comfortable, warm enough for the late-fall type of wear we're having, and looked pretty cute too! I actually wore it with my jean jacket as well as with a down vest for part of the day.
And it looked equally great with these boots as it did with my flats when I couldn't find my boots in time to get the kids to school in the a.m.
I think an outfit like this proves that some fashion "rules" should just go right out the window. Plus size women shouldn't wear tight clothes? Oops. Curvy gals should never wear horizontal stripes? Uh oh. Larger ladies shouldn't wear minis? *shrugs*
Just call me a rule-breaking not-skinny-mini(dress wearer)
