It won't likely come as a surprise to you to find that I read quite a few different fashion and personal style blogs each day.
I love getting fashion inspiration from other bloggers, but it's fairly rare that I see an outfit and think, "I could wear exactly that outfit!" But that's what happened!
Jennie from
A Pocketful of Polka Dots is a great style blogger. She has a defined, classic style and her outfits are always inspiring and lovely. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn - so classy!
When she wore
this plaid shirt and navy skirt combo I loved it immediately! And when I was getting dressed the other day I thought - hey wait - I have a plaid shirt and a navy skirt! Admittedly I don't have the great cluster pearl necklace that Jennie is wearing, but I accessorized with my murano glass necklace and earrings.
I skipped the leopard pumps (because, sadly, I don' t have any - shopping trip!) and went with my red flats instead. This was a great, comfortable, fun outfit. And I loved wearing it.
Thanks for the fashion inspiration Jennie!

You are too, too sweet, especially with the Audrey Hepburn reference. Thank you, Tea! As I have mentioned before, I love your interpretation - your red flats are perfect with this. :)
