It just makes you feel put together (without an awful lot of effort I might add) and chic. At least, that's how it makes me feel. I saw this lace yoke top on a mannequin at Cleo and I just had to have it. It's so beautiful and classy and ladylike.
I toned down the dressy aspect of the lace neck by pairing it with my black jeans, and cuffed them because - well, weather.
Throw in my leopard flats (which are serious need of replacing but I just love them so!) and I was ready to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday with family, laughs, and way too much chinese food.
I've also been on the lookout for a new bag for some time now. As much as I love the look of designer bags, the reality is that one is not likely to ever actually exist in my closet. So when I saw this bag at Walmart (yes, WALMART!) I fell in love with the colour right away.
And the fact that is has both a crossbody and two short straps made it a winner for me. Plus it's big enough to put all of my mom-gear in for my day-to-day. And it was only $30. So.... yeah.
