Niagara on the Lake

Just recently I went to Niagara on the Lake for a girls weekend with my Mother and sisters.

This was to celebrate our Mom's 60th birthday - which was last August! Actually managed to get away before the next birthday came around, so that was a good thing.

We stayed in the cutest little Air Bnb in Old Town Niagara on the Lake.
We went for a great spa morning (sorry - no pics!) and then toured some of the many many amazing wineries in the Niagara on the Lake Region.

Having been on a few different wine-tours in the area before, this time we wanted to go to some smaller wineries, and we didn't want to drive! Lol.

We lucked out by finding Greg from Grapevine Niagara. He is a local, and an amazing tour guide, driver and all-round gentleman! We absolutely recommend if you're looking for a driver next time you're in Niagara on the Lake, that you contact him (the link to his website is at the end of this post).

Some delicious wines were tasted, lots of laughs and just generally a great time despite the weather being mostly miserable.

A quick change of clothes, and we headed into Old Town for dinner at Orzo restaurant.
Every single one of us absolutely loved and devoured our delicious meals!

The rest of our evening was spent lounging around, eating charceuterie with cheeses from local cheese shop "Cheese Secrets" and just relaxing.

Have you spent any time in Niagara on the Lake? What's your favourite winery?
