We're finally (FINALLY!) getting some warmer, more springtime appropriate weather!
It was actually a high of 10' C the day I wore this. Warm enough for cropped pants and flats - hallelujah!
I love the bold black and white print on these cropped pants, but because it's so busy it really needs solid pieces to keep me looking more put together and less got dressed in the dark.
This bright teal tee has some really simple detailing - princess seams and a chiffon yoke - and my black cardigan with the bow buttons is a go-to piece for me when I need something to cover my arms but that's still light and breathable.
I tried a new hairstyle as well - this is my first ever fishtail braid done on my own head. It's a lot harder than you think! I can french braid my hair in about 2 minutes but this took FOREVER! I then tucked the tail up and secured it with a barrette because my hair is so thick and heavy that it would have taken about a ba-jillion (yeah, that's a real number) bobby pins.
I liked how the hair turned out - if I have the patience to do it I may wear it like this now and again. It's a great 2nd or 3rd day hairstyle before I get a chance to wash my hair again.
Looking forward to even more warmer temps and finally getting my spring/summer clothes back in rotation!
