Deck of Cards

In my first couple of years of high-school my mother used to remark that my wardrobe resembled nothing more than a deck of cards. It was, truly an abundance of red, black and white. And while I wholeheartedly embrace *almost* all the colours of the rainbow in my wardrobe now, there is something satisfying to me about a deck of cards outfit.

This red jacket is back, with a vengeance. Yes, yes, I know it was also in the last outfit I posted, but I promise I didn't wear these outfits back-to-back.

I wore this for church on Sunday morning - the plan was originally to wear a dress that day, but when I realized it was -40C with the windchill I knew that a dress or skirt just wasn't happening. So the red jacket came out and a simple black and white outfit beneath with a punch of red in the shoes and I was set to go.

These shoes, like the jacket, are proof that I have a hard time resisting cheap, red, shiny things when thrifting - but they're one of my all time fave finds, so I wear them with pride!

  1. Lovely outfit Tea, I used to have a similar red leather jacket but that was 10 years ago. I sometimes wish I had kept up with mine.
