Happy Blog-i-versary

I can hardly believe I'm writing these words, but What Mama Wears is 1! ONE!

 
Yes, it's been a whole crazy year since I started this journey in style with all of you. Thank you friends for sticking it out with me, and welcome to those of you who have joined along the way.

I started this blog because I had a hard time seeing myself in a lot of the bloggers whom I adore and follow. Their style is so often lovely and at the same time seemed unattainable for a plus-size, suburban, Canadian mom. Not to mention that my budget is usually more Value Village and Walmart than Ann Taylor or Nordstrom.

So I jumped in with both feet - and as a teeny tiny homage to that first ever official What Mama Wears post, I'm wearing the same dress today that I wore then.

One year later and it's still one of my fave summer dresses - the bright coral colour just makes me happy. And nude wedge shoes are the perfect addition.

A little flower in my hair (which is up because it's SO humid!) and a few outdoor pics to celebrate WMW's blog-i-versary and the gorgeous July weather.
