Wear Red

"When in doubt, wear red". - Bill Blass

I just love the colour red. I knew I needed a couple of pairs of new flats to expand my shoe wardrobe through the spring and summer -  most people would probably go for a black, white or neutral shoe - but these red flats are bound to get tonnes of wear!

I love this Bill Blass quote at the top of the post - when I'm feeling kind of down, glum, or even tired wearing red offers me a bit of a personal pick-me-up.

I paired my new red flats with some simple dark wash jeans and a red printed tunic. Some anchor stud earrings and my milleflora necklace and this was a perfect outfit to take the boys over to a friends so that the kids could have a playdate and I had a nice long visit with my good friend.
